Last weekend, we had a very fabulous dinner with our family and friends (Japanese & Chinese). We set "Malaysian Specialty" as our theme for that dinner. "Nasi lemak" no doubt is the best dish to represent our Malaysian taste. Our dishes came with nasi kuning (tumeric rice - colour looks and taste more), beef rendang, sambal, onion sambal, anchovies, curry chicken, hard boiled eggs,roast chicken wings, roti canai, and some fresh cucumber and cherry tomatoes. Jasmine & Rui brought us some shrimp crackers (keropok) as entree.. and i also made coconut pandan "hun kueh" as dessert (forgot to take the photo). The signature dish of the night was the sambal, it tasted very spicy and with strong aroma. Eventually, this meal had fulfilled our "big eating spree"!!! with greatest satisfactions !!!
